IPL, or Intense Pulsed Light, is able to treat a variety of skin concerns. IPL is well known for its use as a long-term solution for treating unwanted body hair. IPL is a safe and effective, non-surgical treatment. If you’re suffering from acne, vascular lesions like thread veins or pigmentation then IPL medical therapies could be the treatment you need. IPL works by using light to target specific skin structures heating them to remove unwanted hair, pigmentation, acne, and more. In the case of hair reduction, the light is absorbed by the melanin in the hair and converted to heat, which damages the hair follicle and leaves it unable to support future hair growth.
